How It Works

A clear path, step by step.

01

Schedule a free, no-obligation consultation.

Submit your ZIP and a few details. A real human from our care team — not a chatbot — calls you back, usually within one business day.

We focus on insurance so you don't have to.

We verify your coverage, explain what's included, and walk you through everything before your first appointment.

02

Find the treatment that fits you.

At your first appointment, our clinical team reviews your full history — past medications, response patterns, lifestyle, side-effect tolerance — and recommends the path most likely to work for your depression.

Some people are better candidates for Spravato; others for TMS. We help you decide together, with no pressure either way.

03

Begin treatment.

Whichever path fits, you'll be supported by the same care team from day one through the full course. Both treatments are delivered in-office, with no driving restrictions for TMS and short post-session monitoring for Spravato.

Why two paths matter

After two medications fail, remission collapses.

The landmark STAR*D trial — the largest depression study ever conducted — shows what every patient with treatment-resistant depression already knows: switching pills again is unlikely to work.

Frequently Asked Questions

BothHow do I know if I'm a candidate?
If you're an adult who has tried two or more antidepressant medications without adequate relief, you may qualify for Spravato, TMS, or both. Our intake team reviews your medication history during your free consultation and helps you understand which treatment fits your situation.
BothWhat's the difference between Spravato and TMS?
Spravato (esketamine) is a nasal spray taken at our office under clinical supervision; sessions run about two hours including monitoring. TMS uses targeted magnetic pulses to stimulate areas of the brain involved in mood — it's non-invasive, takes about 19 minutes, and you can drive yourself home immediately after.
TMSIs TMS painful or uncomfortable?
No anesthesia, no sedation. Most patients describe a tapping sensation on the scalp during the session. After the first one or two appointments, the vast majority continue without issue — and the mild scalp sensitivity that can occur generally fades within the first week.
SpravatoWhat does Spravato actually feel like?
Most patients feel a sense of dissociation or floating during the two-hour session — this typically resolves before you leave. Some report mild dizziness, mild blood pressure changes, or a metallic taste. You'll be monitored throughout, and you can't drive yourself home — plan for a ride.
BothHow long until I feel better?
Many Spravato patients report improvement within the first one to two weeks. TMS responses typically build over the six-week course, with most patients noticing meaningful change by week three or four.
BothWill my insurance cover this?
Most major plans cover both Spravato and TMS for treatment-resistant depression — including Aetna, Cigna, Horizon BCBS, United, Medicare, and more. We verify your specific benefits before your first appointment so there are no surprises.
BothDo I need a referral?
In most cases, no. We can begin the consultation directly. If your specific plan requires one, we'll help you coordinate with your prescribing provider.
BothCan I keep my current antidepressant?
Often, yes. Both Spravato and TMS are typically delivered alongside your existing oral antidepressant rather than replacing it. Your treating clinician will coordinate with your prescriber.
